Councilwoman Betty Guardado is a fighter

Betty knows the value of hard work and determination. She grew up in south central Los Angeles and moved to Arizona in 2007, where he worked to organize thousands of hotel and food service workers throughout Maricopa County. In 2018, Betty decided it was time to bring a voice for everyone directly to the Phoenix City Council, and in May 2019 she overwhelmingly won the election to represent District 5 on the City Council. She has been working tirelessly to improve Phoenix for everyone ever since.

Betty is working for you

All of Phoenix deserves safe parks, paved streets, walkable sidewalks, and more. When our neighborhoods are served, our city thrives.

From day one, I have made it my priority to ensure that my district is first to the table to attract new and responsible development projects that bring jobs, better nutrition options and sustained community investment in our district.

I have been and will continue to work tirelessly to build bridges between our first responders and the communities they protect. Working together we are all safer.

At Phoenix City Hall, I am determined to represent you and your family’s priorities. Too often our voices can be lost, as long as I am on Council know that there is always a door open for you.
